My First Piano Performance

I played my first piano piece at a RS talent night (ladies church group) i was thrilled that i was actually able to play from memory and it went smoothly..this was a first for me...i am enjoying learning how to play the piano..

Back to School =My vacation....

Well sort of if you call having morning sickness a vacation i could think of other things to do with my free time other than not toss my cookies....Its sad when you make spaghetti and your kiddos thought it was great. I am pretty sure my family is meal deprived right now...

Sarah is back in preschool and loving it....

Jeremy is in 7Th grade and he is now 5'8 according to the doctor...he escaped my Kodak making moments...

Matthew is in the 4Th grade and keeping his teacher on her toes...Matthew and Bryan decided they had to have matching outfits so every one would know they were brothers..Thanks Grandpa..

Bryan is in second grade...this past August he was baptized...and loves going to cub scouts (bonus for me i only have one at home on Wednesdays evenings now..NIICE...)

Pregnancy update..I am now 11 weeks along and doing fine so far i cant help but worry..I am due April 7Th 2009 which feels like an eternity..and you can already tell there is a bun in the oven so i am having to find maternity cloths to wear already..bye bye skinny clothes....

Just some Thougths...

The last several months have brought many tears for me...I never thought how much it would hurt having a broken heart or the sadness i feel on a daily basis. This has caused a lot of strain in my relationships with friends who i care about...and for that i am very SORRY..even though i have tried to work through my loss its hard being happy for those precious friends who are experiencing a new baby or expecting.. i don't think its jealousy...its something deep inside that makes my heart ache a little more knowing that i will not have a opportunity to hold another sweet little one of my own ..to me life has not been the same...some days i think i am starting to come away from this and then the heart ache comes back and i know that is just life but dang it cant i get through this already and let it go

Seeing Stars...

During the Month of April Bryan and Sarah were stars of the week for their class.. Its really fun for the kids to do this they love it We made a special poster with lots of their favorite pictures I thought it would be fun to share these with you....

Design and Build..

This last month has been busy with school activities

First of all my son Jeremy was involved in a design and build club..Him and two boys designed a house and put it together...

they actually have a competition with other schools so Jeremy and his team received Best model for 6Th grade pretty cool...Here is what they created..

Okay I noticed Sarah being really cute with the guitar so i pulled out the camera and this is what i got YES this is my crazy house Enjoy

1. 10 years ago:
Well lets see i just had my 3rd baby and trying to adjust to being a mom of 3
I was 29 ten years ago.
2. Snacks I enjoy:
Now that's a loaded question too many to name and it just depends on my mood
3. What I would do if I were suddenly made a billionaire:
Well if i had money to spend out the wazoo..
Of course i would pay off my bills
I would remodel my house and then sell it and move in to something a whole lot nicer and with several acres
Next i would set aside money to have my children's teeth fixed
Help out family members in need
Do lots of traveling to see family..
New furnishing for my house.
Get an education of some sort
Maybe move to a warmer location someplace with better education opportunities..

last but not least i drive my hubby crazy when i leave lids off of things..

I love to sleep on the couch in fact that is where my kids will look first when they get up in the middle of the night
My eyelashes on my right eye are blond and so in a lot of my early childhood pictures i have one eye that appears bigger then the other.

Spring Break... A Bust

We have done pretty well with not getting too sick ... Until that is Spring Break It started on Sunday with Me and Matthew than Bryan and now Jeremy...We get to make a trip to the doctor tomorrow i think we have strep.... so much for spring break

Sarah is 4

Here is a famous Sarah Ward quote... it was really an accident Mother......I am amazed at all of the changes i have seen in this little girl in the past 18 mo.. She has gone from a toddler to a preschooler in a matter of minutes.. She finally has Hair....not that she lets Me do anything with it that is a previledge she allows only her big sister to have not MOM...

Sarah is a girly girl... with a hint of brothers in her.. She loves to wear dresses .Pink is course is her favorite color and she is definently a daddys girl and likes her mommy sometimes Sarah can dish out the wrestling when it come to her 3brothers and she can never have to many babies ..what can i say she is a 100% girl..

We have loved having Sarah in our family its been a nice change from having 3boys in a row and then getting another little sweet girl Heather has wanted a little sister since she was 4 its been alot of fun having Sarah..

10 Years Ago.

Happy Birthday....

Matthew looked like this 10 years ago. This photo doesnt do it justice When Matthew was born he had white peach fuz down his little cheek bones he reminded me of a little old man.. His first year of life was rough. at 2weeks he had bronchitus which took him forever to get over.. and then at six months during a rountine check up they discovered he was really low on iron and they could not figure out why... so for a spell he started to become healthy and then the unthinkable happend..

When he was 10months old we a took him for a ear infection and the doc. noticed that he had a large mass on his left side and ordered a xray so we had to feed him some contrast after the xray the next step was and ultra sound i remember the diognois like it was yesterday its CANCER i said what how can a 10 month old baby have cancer.. Can you say neroblastoma.. yeah it took us a while to learn how to say it so we went to columbia Childerns hospital and they took good care of us..of course the first 48 hrs were the worst and did i mention this happend on my husbands birthday Dec 23 poor matthew spent his first Chirstmas pretty much sedated i think i really hated that Christmas not being with my other childern Heather and Jeremy who was only 3 so to make a long story short he needed only 4 rounds of chemo to shrink the tumor we were really blessed the caner had not spread through his little body and luckly the tumor was discoverd before his 1st birthday otherwise his chances would have been cut in half so i guess you can call him our little mircle child....We have been so blessed to have him he is such a sweet- very imanginative boy who loves everyone if you ever need a friend there is always matthew...check back soon for some picture of him through the years..

Not in the Blogging Mood...

I havent much to blog about lately or so it seems ..
Since Nov i have had a hard time feeling at peace and its been diffcult moving on...So January came and i decided that i was going to make some changes.. First of all i am not a goal setting or list making kind of person but i was tired of living a messy house and not being able to accomplish anything or have any time to do things i enjoy so as of January 1st i have been working my buns off trying to get my house in order at first it was really hard to notice any improvement but now its easier to clean for instance this morning i cleaned up the living room and i am glad to say there wasnt a huge mess that has been sitting there for days just a little one left over from last night and it only took a couple of minuts..and my kitchen has been the same way and the rest of my house is caught up.. you know there is the daily mess and laundry but i am glad to say that i am enjoying my new found free time and what am doing with it.. my other goals. practing the piano which i hope with piano lessons this year i can move forward.. reading my scriptures and just enjoying my clean house
